Uncle Chris was always so kind and thoughtful to my family and I but it's been amazing to see how many other lives he touched with his humour, generosity and thoughtfulness. I have many lovely memories of him but one of my favourites was Chris taking me on an Oxford tour bus and repeatedly telling me the tour guide was wrong and giving me the correct facts! I remember visiting him and seeing a large pile of books by his chair and thinking that I knew where I got it from. His kindness and generosity seemed limitless and I remember telling him about an autobiography I had recently read about Audrey Hepburn and the next time I saw him he presented me with a pile he thought I might like. Chris - you are so loved and will be so missed.
