I knew Chris from the early 1980s when we worked for the same organisation. It was not until the 1990s when Chris became Secretary of the Civil Service Club Club in Marston that I really got to know him. He was Secretary, with Andy Mac as Treasurer, when I was Chairman and I started to see the positive impact he had on all that met him.This was also true of his work with HMRC and I have seen many recent tributes and comments to back this up. When he joined Corpus this appears to have become even more evident and many owe so much to Chris for his time and patience. A true gent who may have left this world, but will never be forgotten, by those that knew him.
